Heritage Committee
The Heritage Committee works to enhance the rich legacy of St. James. We have a beautiful and historic worship space, interesting photographs and documents, and a wide variety of memorial items. When gifts are designated for the Memorial Fund, the committee and rector decide how best to use the donations. We research, obtain quotes, procure the item, and arrange for it to be blessed and dedicated to the glory of God, in loving memory of the departed.
Our legacy isn't just bricks and mortar, however - it is very much the hard work of our parishioners. From the very earliest days of the pioneers, through the church building phase in the early 20th century, to our recent period of expansion, the efforts of our people have made St. James what it is today. That work is remembered and celebrated by the Heritage Committee.
