This Holy Communion Service is open for in-person worship and will also be livestreamed on our You Tube channel (St James Caledon East). Click here to join the service.
Effective immediately, people are welcome to come to the Communion Table to receive the sacrament of bread. Social distancing will be observed, with a max of 7 people at the altar rail. Masks are optional.
If you are uncomfortable doing this, or find the three steps up to the Communion Table an issue, please just stand after the communicants have returned to their pews, and Mother Michelle will bring you communion. If you would prefer to receive just a blessing, please cross your arms over your chest.
At this time the Anglican Diocese of Toronto has not authorized a return to the common chalice.
St. James receives guidance weekly on these matters and will continue to update the parish as the situation changes.
