Honouring Pride Month

 We will be learning what LGBTQ2+ means and discussing what each initial in this grouping represents.  Also, the significance of the rainbow flag and the special meaning behind its various colours will be discussed.

Look for the article on the ‘disconnect between the church and the gay community’ that has much relevance to not only our parish, but churches throughout the world. 

On June 24, the parish and others are invited to watch ‘Badge of Pride’ a CBC documentary which looks at discrimination experienced by LGBTQ2+ members of Toronto’s Police force, with Todd Hillhouse.

Our special guest on June 27 will be Jill Holroyd who works tirelessly on behalf of LGBTQ2+ youth as a member of PFLAG – Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays.
