A message from Joanne & Brad's dog, Blue!
I am enjoying seeing the signs of spring and feeling the soft green grass under my paws instead of ice and snow!
I have also been enjoying having my people (Joanne & Brad) home more often, as I get lots of attention, and also get to spend more time at the cabin.
I really like it here because I see many interesting friends, such as these wild turkeys that recently crossed our lawn, as well as my rabbit friend. I find evidence of coyotes and deer, but I haven't actually seen any (I think they must be afraid of me!).
I like being at the cabin because at home, the bed is on the second floor, and I have a fear of stairs, so I don't go up there. Here, the bed is on the main level, so I love sleeping on the bed all day (I take up the whole bed!). One of the things I don't like about being here is that they (my people) don't let me off leash, and so I miss running free. I think they are worried that I will run after rabbits and things like that. But they don't seem to realize that I am actually a bit afraid of rabbits, I have learned that small creatures are to be feared, as I have been swatted on the nose by our cats at home many times! They are also worried that the coyotes might get me (don't they know how big I am?!)
But the best thing about being here at the cabin, is that Howard the Butcher in Caledon East isn't very far away, so I enjoy waiting - and waiting - and waiting for the small pieces of steak that I will eventually enjoy!
And now, time for a nap again :)
