Welcome to the Mindful Weekend. We at Mindful Christianity thought it would be helpful to provide you each Friday with some encouraging scripture, thoughts and challenges that have inspired us in our own journey. (After all, we are all in this together!)

We hope it can help make your weekend more fulfilling and restorative!

Week One: Inspiration:

“Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live this day as if it were your last. The past is over and gone. The future is not guaranteed.” - Wayne Dyer

Scripture:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. -  Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

Challenge:

Sometimes being anxious or stressed is the result of projecting yourself into an uncertain future or reliving past events that you cannot change. Scripture tells us that we can be alive in the moment when we surrender our worries to God. This weekend try to set aside 15 minutes to get quiet and pray for the peace of God to invade an area of your life that is causing you stress or anxiety. We believe He will make His peace apparent to you.  www.mindfulchristianitytoday.com
