Come as you are, whoever you are, whatever your spiritual experience!

St. James, Caledon East is an open, accepting church.  We look forward to welcoming you.

Here you will find:

  •  a beautiful, restful worship space, and a community where racism and discrimination have no place
  • people who are warm, but won’t overwhelm you
  • a variety of worship services, times and fellowship opportunities.
  • a mixture of contemporary and traditional music
  • accessibility aids such as an elevator and sound system
  • lots of parking
  • we would like to say, comfortable seats, but – it is a heritage church!
  • an opportunity for you to share your volunteer skills and abilities, if you so wish

During our service, we sit or kneel to pray; sit to listen; and stand to praise and sing. Most services include Holy Communion (the sharing of bread and wine that has been blessed). No one is required to partake in this part of the service, but those who feel comfortable are welcome to come forward to the Table. Join us after the first and third service of the month for "coffee time".
