Archbishop Linda Nicholls visits

St. James was blessed with a visit from Archibishop Linda Nicholls, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada on Sunday, June 4, 2023.  Archbishop Nicholls helped celebrate the 175th anniversary of the parish, and spoke of the faithfulness of God, even during times such as the pandemic.  The church choir and band premiered 'St. James in the Heart of the Village', an anthem composed by parishioner Howard Jones. The Archbishop welcomed seven members of the congregation into the Anglican church, a meaningful act for those raised in other faith traditions but who have found a new home at St. James.
