Many parishioners took part in our day of discussion and discovery in June. Our sessions were facilitated by two wonderful representatives from the Congregational Development Department of the Diocese.  During the workshop we discussed the parish’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges.  Extensive notes were taken, and the facilitators created a synopsis of the comments and questions.  Several themes emerged which, if adopted, will guide us moving ahead.

 Next steps:

The key findings and suggested priorities will be presented to the Advisory Board next week.  Out of that meeting may come further discussion and refinement of the priorities.

Once we have agreement on the priorities, work will continue to break them into doable tasks.  The priorities will be reflected in the 2026 budget, the development of which will begin in October.
