Dear Friends,

In 2019 we decided that the time had come to repaint the church roof, but also restore some of the church building to its former glory. The storm windows were in a poor state along with the eaves, the stonework, and the bell tower fitments. Because of your amazing generosity we were ready to let a contract to Restoration Guys Inc in the early Fall. Work was started in October and then winter arrived in earnest very early in November - and the work came to a complete halt! As the saying goes, “Man plans, and God laughs”.

We were anticipating that Restoration Guys would be able to recommence the work in the Spring but then the COVID 19 pandemic arrived! Therefore work did not really get under way until the late summer.

We can now report that the restoration has finally been completed and the results are outstanding. We are attaching some photographs to show the final restoration and hope that you can take pride in being part of this restoration work.

We would like to personally thank you for your very generous donation to this project and the fact that the church can bring beauty to the Parish as well as the Town.
