Since the fall St. James has been raising funds for a new HVAC system.  In December we learned that we can refurbish the existing units for about half the cost of installing new ones - at a savings of about 50% from the initial projected cost of $85K.  Thanks to the generosity of the parish and others, enough funds are in place to secure a contract, purchase the parts and get going on the project in April.  Any leftover money will be set aside in a restricted fund to serve future buildng needs.  The HVAC committee consists of Mother Michelle, John Heighton (Honourary Chair) Diane Allengame, David Finch, Earle Mullings, David Reed and Lori Robinson. A sincere thank you to everyone who stepped up to support this vital infrastructure project.
