Greetings to Everyone!

I hope you are keeping well and finding new ways to spend time with the Lord as we find ourselves with much more space and time alone.  Music can be a great encourager, and singing familiar worship songs can also strengthen our spirits as we worship God together even though through a virtual medium rather than in person.

I have pasted a link below to a program called Songs of Praise which is aired weekly in the UK by BBC.  This episode is from last year, and features the opening song Now Thank We All Our God, and then the program ends with the song The Day Thou Gavest.  There are some other songs and hymns in between that you may or may not know, but all of the songs have the words posted on the screen so you could sing along with the congregation if you wish to.  The program also features interviews with various people about their faith journey, including writer Julian Fellowes, creator of Downton Abbey.

I hope you will enjoy watching the program if you choose to do so, and I have also pasted a couple of other links as well.  One is a quiet, contemplative worship song, and the other is an energetic Gospel song.  There is nothing like passionate Gospel music to lift our spirits!

Blessings to you all,
Joanne
