Weekend Challenge: Remember that you are His Beloved

Words of love and affirmation are essential to our growth and vitality. Those of us who grew up without loving or affirming voices in our life understand how painful their absence can be. The human heart can often be wounded by a single word or a hostile glance devoid of love. Thankfully, there is a Divine voice of truth present in our lives. If we simply quiet our minds, we can hear the Heavenly Father's resounding voice of blessing, there to remind us that we are indeed beloved. No matter who you are, what you have done, what you have been through, you are a deeply loved and valued child of God.

This weekend, take some quiet time to meditate on God’s divine love for you. Allow that love to take possession of your heart. Be intentional to sit in the presence of the one who calls you, His beloved. God's heart and love for you is surer than anything you can imagine. As you receive this all-consuming love from your Heavenly Father, you will feel compelled to share it with others.

Make it a daily habit to speak words of blessing over your children or friends. Be proactive to tell the people around you that you love them and are proud of them. They need it! Reflect the unconditional love of Christ through your words.

In the coming days, it is our prayer that you share the reality of God’s love for you like you never have before.
